➥ Expanded the campaign’s digital presence, growing social media followers to over 6,000 across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, and Facebook.

➥ Hosted and emceed a 2-hour virtual event on Sequel.io, securing 14 high-profile speakers and drawing nearly 600 live attendees from a pool of over 1,200 registrants.

I was appointed by the founder and board chairman as the inaugural Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), tasked with leading the go-to-market (GTM) strategy by aligning sales, marketing, and client services to accelerate growth. Additionally, I built a resilient framework for sustained client acquisition and retention amid rapid expansion.

I was onboarded as the 28th employee in a newly created role, responsible for building and implementing a scalable sales and marketing infrastructure from the ground up. I led 5 direct reports and 8 indirect reports, transforming the company into a recognized market leader and driving exponential growth.

➥ Built a high-performing sales and marketing engine, resulting in a 70% year-over-year revenue increase and establishing a foundation for sustained long-term growth.

➥ Enhanced market positioning by aligning sales and marketing efforts to target higher-value clients, boosting average monthly recurring revenue (MRR) from $5K to $14K through a strategic realignment.

➥ Elevated SmartBug Media into a global leader in digital marketing, driving substantial revenue growth and earning widespread recognition within the HubSpot ecosystem.

➥ Spearheaded the company to become one of the first six HubSpot Elite Partners globally and secured the prestigious title of HubSpot’s Global Partner of the Year in 2018, surpassing all global competitors in sales performance.

Allbound, Inc.

I led the transformation of a concept into a high-growth start-up, securing $2M in annual recurring revenue (ARR) within the first two years through an effective sales and inbound marketing strategy. I capitalized on relationships with previous investors who contributed to the new venture, further accelerating its growth. Managed a team of 2 direct and 8 indirect reports.

➥Utilized in-depth knowledge of the target audience to effectively communicate the company’s value proposition, creating demand within IT budgets for the first time. 

➥Positioned Allbound as a disruptive force in the SaaS and channel sales markets, successfully winning business against industry giants like Salesforce.

nettime solutions

I drove the growth of nettime solutions by developing and executing a comprehensive inbound lead generation and content marketing strategy, resulting in significant year-over-year performance improvements. These efforts led to a 415% increase in SQLs, a 92% boost in closed units, and an 89% revenue increase.

➥ Introduced HubSpot Marketing Hub, integrated with Salesforce CRM, to streamline marketing and sales efforts, improving operational efficiency.

➥ Led the rebranding of nettime solutions, including the development of a new logo, which enhanced the company’s market positioning.

In 2014, my efforts contributed to making nettime solutions an attractive acquisition target, ultimately leading to the company’s acquisition by Paychex. This acquisition significantly expanded Paychex’s portfolio into the mid-market.

I played a key role in driving global brand consistency and enhancing organizational performance by designing and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns for both corporate branding and a vast network of independent consultants. These efforts empowered TTI Success Insights to expand its global reach and solidify its leadership in the assessment-based talent management space.

I spearheaded the planning and execution of comprehensive annual marketing campaigns for ATC’s productions, special events, and education programs, contributing to the theatre’s growth and visibility across its Tucson and Phoenix operations. ATC, renowned for its diverse programming and community outreach, serves over 130,000 attendees annually.

➥ Led a cross-functional team of marketing, public relations, box office, group sales, telemarketing, and graphic design professionals, achieving annual revenue goals of $4.4 million while managing a $2 million operating budget.

➥ Partnered with Ticketmaster to implement the Archtics CRM system, improving ticketing, reporting, and database management processes, which enhanced both customer experience and operational efficiency.

During my tenure, I played a key role in ensuring ATC maintained its standing as Arizona’s leading professional theatre, with the largest seasonal subscriber base in the state’s performing arts. My leadership and strategic vision fostered a deep connection with the community, ensuring that each season delivered a rich variety of productions and educational opportunities, further solidifying ATC’s reputation for excellence.

I earned recognition early in my teaching career, receiving the DVUSD and Deer Valley Education Foundation Rookie of the Year award in 2001, following my selection as the University of Arizona’s College of Education Student Teacher of the Year in 2000. My tenure was defined by a commitment to educational excellence and community engagement.

➥ Midway through my first year, I took on additional responsibilities, teaching both Honors Sophomore English and Junior-level American Literature, while also advising the Junior Class, Grammar Awareness Club, and National Honor Society.

➥ Directed the Speech and Debate team’s 2002 one-act competition performance of For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls by Christopher Durang.

A major accomplishment was leading and writing Mountain Ridge High School’s application for the prestigious A+ School of Excellence award from the Arizona Educational Foundation in 2002, marking the first time the school received this honor. This recognition highlighted the school’s dedication to fostering educational excellence and community involvement.

Additionally, I volunteered for three years with Arizona Theatre Company as part of the Tony Award-winning Wasserstein Project, which deepened students’ engagement with theatre. My involvement eventually led to my transition to a full-time role as Education Coordinator at ATC in 2004, where I further pursued my passion for education and the arts.
