Thrilled to announce that I have been named the Outing Chair for the Austin Fly Fishers Association. Looking forward to planning trips for the group to get out on the water! My love for fly fishing and introducing people to the sport is expanding.
The Austin Fly Fishers (AFF) is simply a group of folks who enjoy fly fishing. Whether you fly fish for sunfish in Lady Bird Lake, bass in the Llano River, redfish on the Gulf Coast, trout in the Rocky Mountains, or bonefish in the Bahamas, you will find members who share your interests. We are also a local chapter of Fly Fishers International (FFI).  Come join us at one of our monthly meetings and get to know us. In the process of creating and releasing Maven, an innovative carsharing app, I was able to combine my technical expertise with agile leadership in a truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. To reimagine the future of transportation, I was committed to both driving innovation and cultivating a culture of high-performance teamwork.

There were two main facets of my dual role that I concentrated on:

●Platform Engineering: collaborated with the development, operations, quality assurance, and product teams to create and maintain the platform upon which our carsharing application relied.

●Monitoring and autoscaling across the nodes to minimize application downtime
●Application ran smoothly and could be rolled out quickly by developing a platform that was both scalable and secure.

●Collaborated with various stakeholders, and technical teams, to design, implement, and optimize network solutions that met the stringent demands of the license plate production process. 
●My expertise covered a wide range of areas, from network architecture and performance tuning to cybersecurity and troubleshooting.
