From music business → full-time medicine professional Here’s my full story: Age 28: Graduated with a degree in music business. Came to the realization that I wasn't going to have a career in music. Age 30: Decided to get involved in medicine. Worked as a CNA as my first healthcare gig. Began school to become an echocardiographer. Age 31-35: Worked in corporate healthcare and experienced burnout through COVID. Read Rich Dad Poor Dad and had the ultimate perspective shift around money. Bought my first single-family home. Completed my first investment property as a private money lender. Age 36: Joined a mentorship program to learn about apartment investing. Met my partners through that group. Bought my first apartment complex. Age 37-39: Bought my second, third, fourth and fifth commercial properties through various methods (JV's, Syndications, Co-GP, Fund of Funds). Continuing to build our network as we look to enter the next phase of the market cycle. ………. Today, being 39 years old feel like it’s all just starting. Simply because of the goals that I have for myself. The notion that you’re “done” once you’ve achieved success in one field is outdated. We are not defined by our titles.
