While in my previous role on the US Airline Debit Memo team, I was given a few AP accounts with high, aging balances on top of my day-to-day Debit Memo activities, with minimal training or support. After extensive analysis, I was able to create permanent solutions to complex issues and discrepancies.
Having shown I get results, I was then given the responsibility of over 100 AP accounts and moved to a Global AP managing role full time (sans the title of Manager).  I was not only responsible for getting various global teams within the company to work with each other and our various contractors, but I was also responsible for getting them to do their work in a timely manner, and improving their processes. Within one year, the number of items aging past 90 days went down 70%.

During my tenure with this team, Amex GBT was the Industry Leader, with nearly half of the Airline Debit Memos (fees associated with agency errors) issued per 1,000 tickets as other travel agencies: 1.57 vs. 3.18. (For 2017, per the Airline Reporting Corporation.)
Consistently drive innovation and change through idea development and implementation, directly resulting in time/effort and cost savings, and look to automate processes.
Exceeded departmental goal of a 10% Airline Debit Memo write-off reduction in 2017 with a 34% reduction: a savings of nearly $1million.
Managed the migration of Centralized Solutions Organization (CSO) to a contractor in India, providing key skills and development to a global team of over 35 employees, as well as the migration of my own role to a new team, holding training classes and one-on-one instruction.
