CBSHRM provides networking opportunities, up-to-date HR information, and quality professional development in an effort to continuously improve the HR profession and enhance our member's professional value. As the VP of Marketing and Communications, I actively create content for all four of our social media profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) to encourage new membership in our organization. Express Employment Professionals has been servicing the Corpus Christi area for almost 35 years, working in the community to put as many people to work as possible. As a Social Media/Recruiting Specialist, I utilize social media, community outreach, and community events to market our service to potential job applicants in the Corpus Christi Area. I strategize organic growth, create engaging content (including weekly videos, newsletters, and more!), manage the online community, and interact with other users on all our social media platforms. I also get to interact with job applicants through a variety of other mediums, including online job postings, job fairs, and phone conversations. I conduct phone interviews to help determine if our Express office will be the right fit for job seekers before they even start our onboarding process.

Express Employment Professionals has been servicing the Corpus Christi area for almost 35 years, working in the community to put as many people to work as possible. As Front Office Coordinator, I not only direct calls, but I also assist applicants through the application process, manage invoices, and aid my coworkers with administrative tasks throughout the office. I greet applicants and visitors alike with a pleasant manner to make them welcome at Express.

Teffany's Dance Studio

Teffany's Dance Studio is celebrating their 11th year in Corpus Christi, Texas in the Calallen area! They have a class for every age and skill level, including the genres of ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, acrobatics, contemporary, and much more! They also offer an award-winning competitive dance company that rotates traveling around Texas every other year for competitions and conventions. As a Dance Teacher, I teach the genres of ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary. I also choreograph for and coach the dancers in the award-winning competition company in multiple styles of dance for all ages. I am thrilled to be a part of Teffany's Dance Studio's 11th Season!

The Dance Studio, run and owned by Sandra Jones, has been one of the top dance schools in Corpus Christi, TX for over 40 years. They offer all levels of training in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, and acrobatics. They also offer the opportunity to be a part of their company, which is comprised of elite dancers that perform at dance competitions and community events. As a teacher, I teach all levels of ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical. I also choreograph for and coach the company dancers for their competitions and community performances.

GNC is a nutrition and wellness company that aims to educate consumers on better ways to live well. Through their well-trained and educated sales associates, they are able to help people find homeopathic remedies for health conditions, custom tailor supplement programs to help them reach fitness goals, and to promote a healthy lifestyle through the products at GNC. Sales associates are also responsible for keeping the store in working order, maintaining the store's professional appearance, reaching financial goals each day, and creating a positive experience to encourage repeat business.

Altered Productions Institute

Altered Productions Institute is a dance and theater studio in Clarksburg, West Virginia many unique types and levels of dance, music, and acting classes to all ages in the community. They also offer the opportunity to participate in a few different types of companies. There are four different types of dance companies that are divided by age group: Protege, Prism Jr. Company, Prism Sr. Company, and AVID. These companies perform at local community events, dance competitions, and dance conventions. They also offer a theater company for all ages that allows participants to perform selections and entire works from the theater and musical theater genres for the community. As a dance teacher here, I have begun teaching beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels of jazz and ballet for all ages.

Dance Gallery Studio

Dance Gallery is a dance studio in Lawrence, Kansas that offers many unique levels and styles of dance for all ages in the community. They also offer the opportunity to participate in Troupe, a competitive team that travels around the country to compete at regional and national dance competitions. As a dance teacher here, I taught many different styles and levels of dance: styles included ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical/contemporary, and combination of those styles for toddlers; levels included beginner through advanced in ballet, tap, and jazz, and a more intermediate level for lyrical/contemporary. I also choreographed and coached multiple styles of dance for Troupe in the form of solos, duets, trios, small groups, and large groups. Two of my soloists placed First Overall at regional and national dance competitions, and many of my duets have also placed in the Top Ten at regional and national dance competitions.

I'm the content creating, camo-wearing ballerina and occasional Seriously Silly Singer!

But when I’m not doing all of that, I get to help people market their businesses better on social media.
