Led the entire marketing & communications function for this highly regarded scale-up that recycled spent coffee grounds into sustainable bio-products. Efforts spanned B2B service & products, as well as B2C FMCG retail.

I evolved the bio-bean brand to bring credibility, cohesion, and consistency to the brand and business, contributing to a remarkable 300% total revenue growth in just 4 years.

Drove an insight-led brand evolution for our FMCG/CPG product to better reach and resonate with the target audience segments, which led to a 54% sales uplift YoY. Drove an outstanding 450% increase in sales through successful listings in major UK supermarkets and DIY retailers: Tesco, Waitrose, Asda, and Wickes.  

Helped bio-bean achieve Certified B Corporation status in 2020, followed by two consecutive years of being recognized as a Best For The World B Corp for our exceptional environmental impact.

As a member of the senior leadership team, I helped guide the business to serve all stakeholders, and I catalysed efforts to improve leadership and management awareness and skills. This led to leadership and management training for all senior and mid-level managers, and ongoing coaching mentorships, resulting in improved staff collaboration and productivity.
