G'day. 

Before connecting: I love getting to know new people (and a connection request without us having previously met is fine) but please write a short note on 'the why' you'd like to connect. I get quite a lot of invitations without comment or context, and I am sorry to say they are likely to be overlooked.

Your company is building three products: A financial instrument, a customer product, and an employee experience. I advocate treating employees as customers purchasing an experience of work, and I encourage us to work like Product Managers in order to iterate and improve on that product. This paradigm shift positions work itself as the focal point of our strive for success, not just optimising the individuals as "human capital". Like the idea? I wrote a book all about it, called "Built for People" which you can buy basically anywhere books are sold.

I find my joy in diverse, kind, and world-changing companies building world-class experiences at work. Sometimes mentor, sometimes blogger, sometimes cyclist, sometimes legal-geek, sometimes vegan home-cook. (She/Her)

Last week I ran three live Sana workshops for our team, and the one that landed really well was about how we're using Agentic tasks and workflows here at Talentful. Talentful prides ourselves in being a tech-enabled services company, and a huge focus of mine is how we can use the power of our incredible humans, and make their work more delightful, easier, and better for our clients using our AI stack! 

I wanted to share some of my favourite agentic prompts, beyond the usual "Can you make me a recipe" on ChatGPT.

🤝 Prep me for meetings:
⚠️ Trigger: Every morning at 8am, review my upcoming meetings for the day and send me a notification with preparation for each one.

Action (Task): Look for any previous meetings of the same type and give me context and action items that were with me or my team [Ops, People, Finance, Resourcing, Recruitment, IT]

Follow-ups: Then, draft a short 5-10 point summary of the preparation, including any internal docs on Drive, slack messages, emails, or previous meeting summaries, for me to review before the meetings for the day.

✍ Draft responses to important emails:
⚠️ Trigger: Whenever an email comes into my inbox which is from an internal email (@domain), review it for urgency and context from recent meetings and other emails. Do not reply to or draft any responses to sales emails.

Action (Task): Review if the email should be responded to, then draft a response in my tone of voice and leave it in my outbox.

Follow-ups: If an email remains in my inbox and I have not sent a response for 2 working days, send me a notification. Please only send this notification three times about any one email.

💬 Review Exit Interview themes:
⚠️ Trigger: Whenever a meeting is moved to the “Exit Interview” project

Action (Task): Summarise key themes across exit interviews conducted in the last 3 months and identify patterns by department, tenure, and reason for leaving.

Follow-ups: Then, draft a short summary email for leadership with the top 3 attrition drivers this quarter, and put it in my drafts. Within the summary suggest follow-up questions or actions based on emerging themes.
