I belong to the 80s generation, one of the last ones to enjoy a playful and free childhood with minimal screen time and video games. I grew up in a modest but honest family, and I learned the values of sacrifice, hard work and resilience from an early age. Being the third out of three taught me to think fast and to find creative solutions to my daily challenges, a mindset that still drives me today. I’ve always been pretty competitive with my friends, especially when playing football and futsal. I’ve learned that you can’t win all the time in life. Sometimes, a tough season is just what you need to get ready for a better one next time. It’s all about taking the good with the bad and knowing that every tough time you go through is just setting you up for future wins. With over 25 years of experience in business, my professional journey can be segmented into three distinct phases: Government, Consulting and Entrepreneurship. I’ve worked with well-known companies like Deloitte, and Grant Thornton and with an International IT Development company called Damco Solutions. I’ve helped these companies start new businesses and services in Luxembourg and Europe. In these roles, I’ve made sure to bring great value to our clients by introducing fresh ideas, helping the business grow in smart ways, and keeping everything secure. In the startup world, I wore many hats – from marketing to operations, delivery to fundraising – and this versatility has been invaluable.
