Jihad Shojaeha, earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Birzeit University in 2004, graduating with very good standing. He continued his academic journey at Birzeit University, obtaining a Master's degree in Quantitative Research and Sociology in 2007. Jihad began his career in training in 2005, working as a youth group facilitator with various civil society organizations and the private sector. His passion for youth development and skill enhancement drove him to engage deeply in this field. Since 2009, Jihad has conducted training sessions with numerous local and international organizations, specializing in life and management skills. His training repertoire includes effective leadership, communication, teamwork, negotiation, creative thinking, problem-solving, job market entry skills, career planning, time management, self-management, and personal planning. Throughout his illustrious career, Jihad has received several prestigious awards. In 2014, he was honored with the Synergos Foundation Social Entrepreneurship Award in New York, USA. He became an Ashoka Fellow in Washington, USA, in 2016. In 2018, he received the TAKREEM Award for Innovation in Education in Paris, France. His commitment to volunteerism earned him the Ouna Volunteer Work Award in 2019 in Ramallah, Palestine. Additionally, he was a finalist for the King Abdullah II Award for Social Entrepreneurship. Jihad has held various significant positions. From 2012 to 2016, he was an Advisory Board Member of the Arab Thought Foundation in Beirut. He served as a Board Member of the Network Management Success in a Changing World in London from 2015 to 2018. Since 2016, he has been an Ashoka Fellow in the Arab World, based in Cairo, USA. Jihad founded and served as the Executive Director of Palestinian ESNAD for Supporting Students from 2014 to 2019. Most recently, he has been the Executive Director of Teach for Palestine from 2023 to 2024.
