Member of platform operations/DevOps team responsible for standing up and operationalizing the first NT private PaaS platform using Pivotal Cloud Foundry.  Went from initial install to live production in 5 months.  Drove executive metrics used to highlight the strengths and value proposition of the platform to the organization.

Senior Vice President - Enterprise Architect, NT Architecture and Innovation

Responsible for managing Fund Services capital investment portfolios to drive results towards expected outcomes.  Started and grew Global Project Management Office with teams in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia.  Directly managed PMO Managers responsible for oversight of Fund Accounting, Middle Office Outsourcing and Transfer Agency change investment portfolios.  Led design, delivery and tracking of Fund Services performance metrics used to demonstrate alignment to strategic business unit objectives.

Fund Accounting Program Manager

As Program Manager, worked with Ops & Tech executive to drive an organizational re-design to enable excellence in the servicing for a specific product set and client base in the institutional business.  After evidencing the business case and earning C-level executive support, identified 1,000+ partners as client service providers and lifted them out of operations and into the institutional business unit. Once completed, we organized and initiated a client servicing training program  delivered to the entire global client servicing staff, which supported and enabled strategically planned and realized growth in this client base.

Responsible for technology strategy and direct consulting.  
Engaged by ParcPlace Digitalk for two years to provide Object-Oriented design + SmallTalk training classes to architecture and development teams in a variety of industries.  (USAir, State Farm, Wells Fargo, Washington Mutual etc.)  Generated several follow-on consulting contracts to facilitate initial design and dev team ramp-up including coaching and mentoring development members.
Engaged by State Farm Insurance (3 years) to consult on projects to re-engineer agent facing systems.  Coached development teams transitioning from procedural MF development patterns to Object-Oriented solutions. 
Engaged by Bauhaus (later purchased by BEA then Oracle) in 2000 to lead a just-in-time training/consulting engagement at Northern Trust to support the initial J2EE application development teams transitioning  from MF and/or client server development.
Started  software companies in the technical trading and Public Safety sectors (sold one to global Public Safety services provider).

Led development and delivery of a Public Safety reporting product. Managed help & support desk, servicing 100+ emergency medical providers.  Sold Public Safety product to a division of Geac Computer in 2000.
