In some way, shape or form I have been involved in construction for most of my life. I literally offer a lifetime of experience. Beginning as a young child in trying to push the pedals on my father’s front-end-loader to managing the construction of multi-building industrial parks. My projects have ranged from less than $100,000 to $150 million. I have had the opportunity to encounter some unique experiences throughout my career. Such as a highway bridge rehabilitation, railroad access, metal framed wall panel with precast floor plank construction, composite elevated deck systems and safely managing several brownfield sites. I have also learned from secondary project related situations. Just a couple of these experiences are contending with serious weather events and managing labor disputes. I take pride in my ability to communicate. Whether it be working with a demanding code official or collaborating with design professionals. On at least one occasion, upon my addition to the project team, I was given the high compliment of affecting a whole new positive morale for a difficult project. In addition to my role as a Superintendent I have also held the positions of Project Manager, Safety Director and performed as an owner's representative/inspector. I hold the virtues of honor and integrity very close in both my career and my personal life. I consider these traits to be essential. I have a passion for building things, problem solving and safety. I learned early that clients notice how quickly a team responds to problems and that communication is key. I believe that all of my life experiences have made me and effective manager. There is no substitute for real world, practical experience.
