In the last few years, I've specialized in hiring, managing and training teams for fast growing companies. I spoke at conferences to push the conversation towards better relationships and better data, and I have an extensive collection of articles, blogs and videos scattered at marketing and recruiting sites across the internet. Today, my main role is recruitment advertising. This is the hottest segment of the TA market, because there aren't many of us, and worse yet, many companies don't yet have the depth in their organization to make advertising excellence a focus. Finding and training these people is why I decided to start Respondable, a recruitment marketing firm that uses a monthly subscription service to work with internal TA teams. Together, we're going to build the next great generation of TA leaders. You probably want to know about the Indeed Whisperer. I'm a big fan of branding, and since I gave up the title of Social Media Headhunter a few years ago, I've been without my persona. In 2018, I started working on Indeed advertising for high volume roles. I was good at it. In 2020, I set up a system that drove 300% more applicants at about 12% of the cost from the year before. Then I did it again in 2021. And in 2022, I was up to 9 different companies, with more applications and super low CPAs (think over half a million at $.28). These were the best results in the RPO space. And then I went deeper. Instead of just reducing costs, could I ramp spending down 10% but increase conversion? Could I counter the algorithms and objectives no matter the provider? What needed to be done at the company level to maximize the results? And how could I sell, educate and deliver on a broader scale than one company and their clients? The result was Respondable Recruitment Marketing. Let's see where we can take it.
