Principal Consultant

Product School

Defined education strategy and processes, owned continuous course improvement. Managed Instructional Design Team, including defining roles, hiring, reviewing performance, and coaching for success. Managed education product planning, updates, and execution. Led engagement with stakeholders, Customer Success team, Sales and Marketing, and Engineering to share insights, align initiatives, and leverage opportunities to improve course delivery, learner outcomes, and customer satisfaction. Established curriculum quality standards and measurement tools. 
   
•	Led design, development, and implementation of rigorous certification programs in product management serving 1500 students in the first 7 months. Recruited, trained, and supervised 20 SMEs. Included project scoping, vendor procurement, stakeholder management, and ground-up construction of assessment instruments to ISO standards, 
•	Led selection, onboarding, and adoption of Docebo LMS to replace underperforming LMS in 4 months. Recruited, hired, and trained full-time LMS admin once LMS was fully implemented. Project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget. Contract was later expanded and renewed for 3 years.
•	Managed international Learning Design team including establishing roles, hiring, and ongoing review and support of employees.
•	Worked closely with the Enterprise and Student Success teams to ensure learner/client satisfaction of 4.3 or higher across 4 different courses serving approximately 4,000 students in the last year.
•	Spearheaded transition from SCORM to xAPI empowering greater access to data and broader compatibility.
•	Founding member of DEI committee.

Director Of Education

Ashford University

Played critical leadership role in institutional development process and served as an advocate/resource to facilitate collaboration among other faculty.  Conducted quantitative/qualitative research related to educational outcomes and guided other faculty to leverage data-driven insights for course design. Delivered online instruction. Evaluated and mentored associate faculty.  

•	Led 80-member Faculty Senate representing a faculty body of over 1000 at university with 40,000 students. Coordinated all committees and served as primary liaison between faculty and university administration.  Led project that increased Adjunct Faculty representation by 200% while navigating budgetary and other obstacles.
•	Lead member of General Education Assessment Committee which established universal general education competencies across the entire catalog of 500+ courses.
•	Evaluated and mentored associate faculty pool of approximately 30 part time faculty. 
•	Improved Information Literacy course performance by 50% through quantitative analysis of the learner base. 
•	Led 3-person team authoring new textbook for Informal Logic (Critical Thinking) with a reach of 10,000 students per year. Championed inclusion of diverse viewpoints in development of text.
•	Conducted Quantitative analyses and research related to educational outcomes and served as resource and trainer for other faculty.  Technical author on 2 publications and multiple smaller initiatives.

Professor

Idaho State University

Researched optical computing as key member of federally funded international research group exploring emerging optical technologies.  Supervised project staff and managed budget. Delivered internal/external presentations. Designed and delivered courses in Philosophy, Mathematics, English, Speech, and Basic Science.

•	Invented Directed Logic and its innovative method of cascading gates. Directed Logic was the project’s principal result with ongoing research in labs across the world and more than 220 citations through 2022. Collaborated with engineering team to validate designs.  
•	Oversaw budgeting, and staff hiring and supervision.  Coordinated research with external labs and stakeholders.  Assisted with grant applications/renewals.
•	Negotiated revision of lab employment contracts from 9-month to 12-month terms while remaining within budget and navigating competing requirements from University administration and grantor.
•	Designed and delivered courses in subjects including Philosophy, Mathematics, English, Speech, and Basic Science.
•	Evaluated research grant applications and provided feedback to submitting faculty.
