Educated as an aspiring Chef and Hospitality Executive, I immersed myself in an industry where I honed skills such as handling demanding requisites, managing large teams, ad hoc problem solving, and navigating through many surprises. However, my journey took an unexpected turn when I fell in love with SaaS Technology around 2010, when I was involved in the deployment of a new PMS at the hotel I was working at that time. Often characterised as an intrepid explorer, this trait has propelled me to venture into uncharted territories within the HR Tech world in 2012. In an industry cluttered with nostalgic ideas, my goal is to uncover and share the real pulse of what's happening—in the dynamic realm of talent acquisition, skills development, and beyond. My pivotal role at Cornerstone placed me at the leading edge of a movement that, at the time, had yet to gain full momentum. Recognising an opportunity, I was determined to bring this movement to fruition in the region. Collaborating with the best and brightest minds in the industry, I played a key role in establishing talent strategies and practices at lighthouse organisations, large and small, such as IMCD, Bugaboo, Ordina, Maduro Curiel Bank, Van Lanschot Kempen, Shell and many others. As the single commercial pioneer in the region, I took on the responsibility of developing the market for Cornerstone in The Netherlands. My mission is clear: to make Cornerstone the default choice for Talent Executives when it comes to talent acquisition and skills development across various industries. I am passionate about shaping the future of HR technology, and my journey continues as I strive to contribute meaningfully to the evolution of talent management practices.
