Early years ~ machine operator generally working the off shifts (3rd shift for several years). Through these experiences I was able to understand manufacturing processes from the inside out; not just by analysis, but through living and breathing it. My path led me through machine operating, tool design, quality management, project management, supply chain management, to operations management and now top level business leadership. Earning three degrees while working full time was a challenging yet worthwhile endeavor and the three letters (MBA) I earned to follow my name were gained with a deep rooted blue collar. I use this same approach of getting into the details of a process and understanding it through living it to improve my operational effectiveness.
