Created a fundraising and communication strategy for a non-profit organization that resulted in a 20% increase in donations to the organization's annual fund.

I designed this class for non-profit professionals. The class covers what works and what doesn't in the world of online fundraising. We examine email marketing, website design, social media, video, peer-to-peer fundraising, crowdfunding, and measurement. Students' final project is a digital fundraising strategy for a non-profit organization.

As the Senior Director of Program Expansion, I managed funder relationships and developed programs to increase the number of teachers and students reached by our organization. As part of this work I managed reporting to the Gates Foundation, and multi-million dollar partnerships around media properties. corporate sponsorships and foundation giving by initiating cause marketing partnerships with companies including Experian, the Walt Disney Company, and Lakeshore Learning and creating new partnerships with local foundations including the Eisner Foundation and California Community Foundation. Developed relationships with school districts and their foundations across the Southwest US.

As the Director of the West Region, I was part of a small team charged with growing DonorsChoose.org's presence west of the Rockies. I increased corporate and foundation giving every year and ensured outreach to teachers and donors. I managed partnerships with Disney, Experian, the Eisner Foundation, the Lincy Foundation, among others.

Strategic analyst and marketing planner for two corporate social responsibility programs: Low Income Energy Efficiency and the CARES program. These programs provided vulnerable populations with free and low cost weatherization services as well as monthly discounts on services.  I helped the team identify cost savings and marketing best practices to increase program impact.

In this role, I worked with Directors and Managers of Head Start programs and Community Healthcare organizations to create strategic plans and to learn business principals.  In my time with this program, I helped over 30 organizations analyze the strengths and weaknesses of their business and complete strategic plans.

Teen Action Campaign, Inc. | Massachusetts Coalition Against Domestic Violence

•	Led website design team and developed content for a digital campaign aimed at teenagers.
•	Created statewide teen leadership program by creating relationships with school districts.
•	Part of the start‐up team selected to transition project from the Massachusetts Coalition Against Domestic Violence to become independent 501c3 organization. Liaised with Board of Directors, assured legal compliance, and created year one operational plan. 
•	Coordinated pro bono partners, including Monitor Group, Hill|Holliday Advertising, Harvard University, and the Advertising Council.
