Chief Field Inspector at civil and mechanical works. Los Cóndores - Hydro Power Plant CL

I was the Chief Field Inspector for civil and mechanical works at Los Cóndores, a run-of-river hydropower plant with a capacity 150MW in CL. 

The project involved building a 12-kilometre underground tunnel. I worked with various methods to ensure successful construction, such as a TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine), pipe penstocks, and Drill And Blast.

As a part of the construction team, I streamlined the construction, pipe mounting, and waterproofing works, which helped reduce the project's total cost and schedule by six months.

One of my achievements was successfully programming and supervising the retrieval of a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) from 6 kilometres inside the tunnel.
