Most recently, I have begun working as the Medical Director for the Seattle-Tukwila Removery Studio, which specializes in Laser Tattoo Removal. Previous to this, I provided Professional Anesthesia Services, including Pre-Operative Evaluation, Peri-Operative Management, and Post Operative Evaluation and Care to Patients in Various Hospitals and Facilities in the Puget Sound Region. I recently concluded 26 years of service at Madigan Army Medical Center, a Tertiary Care Facility for Armed Services Personnel and their Families, as well as Retirees in the Pacific Northwest, which includes Alaska, Idaho and the Pacific Islands. Specialties: Anesthesiology, Including General and Regional Anesthesia, Anesthesia for Out of O.R. Procedures. Special Interests have included Patient Safety and Obstructive Sleep Apnea and the effects this has on Recovery from Anesthesia. I served in the Army Reserves - Medical Corps for 15 years, which included 6 years beyond my required commitment. This included a Deployment to Bosnia to manage the Anesthesia Department for a field hospital. In Addition to my Experiences in Medicine and Anesthesia, I am a Business Owner and involved in Rental Property Management. For Non Work Experiences, I am an active Recreational Road Cyclist, and this Summer I lead a series of Rides getting cyclists prepared for Riding in and Completing the Seattle to Portland Bicycle Ride, a 206 mile ride over 1 to 2 days, and then Completed the Ride from Seattle to Vancouver B.C., which was in August 2023.
