Managing all aspects of the  Promotions Department and digital assets including the station’s website, social media channels and mobile applications

Assisting in the development of the annual marketing and promotion budget, working monthly to track expenses and adhere to expense guidelines

Maintaining and training a part-time promotional staff to assist with on-site station events

My role is to create, maintain and execute on-air, on-line and on-site marketing campaigns that provides clients ROI, publicizes the stations assets and ensure quality benefits to the listeners. I am responsible for managing a part-time staff of ten to fifteen people and interact with a team of forty full time employees, creation of weekly electronic newsletters to over 50,000+ Loyal Listeners, customer service, producing/distribution of press releases, maintaining station equipment materials and vehicles. Some of my other responsibilities include website content, marketing publications,  social networking sites, and I serve as the stations community engagement manager (scheduling Public Service Announcements campaigns, inventory, community websites, & representative).

I delayed my three-month graduation date to become an Intern at my hometown radio station Hot 107.9 Syracuse (WWHT-iHeartMedia).   I was hired immediately after it ended in July 2000 as a part-time promotion assistant.  After I transitioned to Greensboro in October 2002, I was welcomed to the iHeartMedia cluster as a part-time promotions team member. I grew into the Director of Marketing & Promotions and Public Service Director position till November 2015. Starting on November 30, 2015, I started a new chapter in my life in Raleigh and a new home at Capitol Broadcasting. In every book, you never know the ending. As of June 29, 2020, my radio chapter ended, and I started a new journey into Digital Marketing.
