I'm in the business of intriguing ideas and how they go from one person's head to another. Here's what I'm weirdly brilliant at doing - getting ideas invited into the "rooms" they need to be in. Some people call me the Potentialist, others their Fairy Godmother. I wear both costumes depending on who the other person needs. And I start with the person. Because ideas come from people. They become a reality because they are passed on from human to human. In my world, everyone is Cinderella to me (yes, even the guys), full of potential, and often, all they need are the trappings, so when they show up at their proverbial palace, the gates swing open. And you know how the rest of the story goes. It's magic when someone and their idea is ready for the transformation. Some, however, aren't ready for me. Why? Because one or more of the following is true. They want ALL the "Princes," not the one that can make their dream come true. - they're afraid of not getting chosen, so they end up boring. They don't want to change what they're doing to get their happily ever after - they're afraid of change and/or doing something wrong/different, so they nod but do not act. They're not willing to put themselves at the top of the staircase - they're afraid of being seen, so they end up hiding and hoping. They don't leave a shoe behind - they're afraid of selling themselves or their idea, so they see the future but never get it. They're all tales of potential. And I'm guessing you now have one about me. :) It's either - woah, what? She's intriguing Or it's - woah, what? She's ridiculous. Cinderella had the courage to talk to the crazy lady in the bushes. Do you? You now have all the magic powers to manifest the next step. What will it be?
