Hey, I'm Jo, an Aussie living in the States. I lead foresight for one of the biggest brands in the world, McDonald's. As the in-house futurist, my mission is to help push the thinking of our global business leaders into the further out future, to better anticipate and innovate for a changing world. For over the last decade, I've been leveraging my Marketing, Innovation and Foresight background to help to transform big brands, create new brands and push major organizations like McDonald's, Mars, SCA Hygiene and General Mills into new growth areas. I believe big business has the responsibility and the potential to do great things for society. In 2022, I launched a podcast, Looking Outside, to explore fresh business ideas. In 2024, alongside peers from Disney and JLR, I founded Foresight Inside Group, a non-profit network for futures professionals. When I'm not working, you can find me hanging out with my rescue dog, Macey, taking road trips across America.
