Just as there are business challenges of differing complexity, I believe that innovation can come in different sizes, big or small. Most importantly, start small, fail fast to find innovative and effective solutions to complex problems. I am an innovation strategist who gets things done right and enjoys pushing (beyond) the boundaries. Through IMDA’s Open Innovation Platform, my team and I have facilitated over 300 challenges to date, but we think we can do so much more, driven by a mission to make innovation accessible. With a strong foundation in human-centred design, technology, product development and management, I have sharp business acumen and a keen understanding of people. I excel at navigating amidst ambiguity, making sense of complexity, relationship building, design research and strategy. I’m a serial intraprenuer, having designed and built products/projects/programmes from zero-one. People who have worked with me would describe me as a driven, resilient and resourceful team-player with a positive and proactive attitude. My top five Clifton strengths are: Ideation, Strategic, Learner, Activator, Woo. Outside of work, I enjoy connecting with my community. I am also a mother of three boisterous teens/pre-teens, who constantly challenge my world view, inspire and motivate me to keep learning.
