A Nurse Case Manager at Patient Advocate since September of 2022. In my current employment I care for a large caseload of client employees, supporting with health and welfare concerns, combining NHS and private health care to ensure that employees are seen, diagnosed and treated significantly faster, and working to create a sustainable workforce in the long term. At Patient Advocate, I’m able to create long lasting and meaningful relationships with patients and their employers based on trust, compassion and expertise. I have been working as a nurse for 4 years and within that time I’ve worked on a paediatric ward, with a specialist interest in sickle cell disease, as well as a nurse assessor. I am a registered nurse with the NMC with (and additional 3 years in the industry whilst studying) and am a member of the RCN. I’ve been able to complete my bachelors degree in Children's Nursing, and has achieved many certificates and proficiencies over my years of employment as a nurse, including safeguarding, clinical empathy, and a number of clinical competencies such as tracheostomy care, central venous lines, blood transfusions etc.
