Let It Grow Foundation is an Non-Profit Company (NPC) based in Johannesburg, that focuses on urban farming and community development. Their philosophy is based on Planet Care, Plant Care and People Care. They teach communities to regenerate the soil and grow their own organic food, using sustainable farming methods, such as permaculture within agroecology. The Foundation’s mission is to enrich lives by providing a means to sustainable, healthy living. The food garden projects are teaching platforms for the community and volunteers, in addition to establishing abundant food spaces which builds food security. The volunteer programmes teach self-reliance and sustainability along with being in harmony with nature.
