I have 13 years professional experience in the information security, information assurance and data protection industries. I gained this experience in a number of different sectors including: > the Military where I worked as Military Intelligence Analyst with responsibility for handling and producing intelligence at the highest classifications levels, and as a Security Operator conducting physical and IT security audits or military establishments against JSP 440, > the Public Sector as an ICT Security Officer with responsibility a quango's internal security management function, > the Private sector as a Senior Security Consultant working with clients on a diverse range of projects (HMG Accreditation, ISO 27001 & PCI-DSS auditing, GDPR auditing and training). Through these roles I have obtained strong experience in: > conducting information security risk assessments (HMG IS1 / ISO27005), > implementing, operating and auditing information security management systems, > delivering GDPR training, conducting GDPR gap analyses and providing Data Protection Officer (DPO) services. My skills and experience have been independently verified by the NCSC CCP scheme (Senior SIRA), and I am also a ISO27001 Lead Auditor, CISSP, CIPP/E, CIPM and CIPT.
