Caveman Labs, LLC

As a self-employed contractor through my company, Caveman Labs, I have personally designed & developed nationally-recognized web, mobile, and 3D experiences, as well as R&D prototypes in these categories, for clients such as Fox Sports, Noggin (Viacom), Bottle Rocket Studios, Conscious Capitalism, Eno8, Fan Media Network, and Long Range Systems (among many others). I have also created proprietary video games, including the VR game "PoolCubed" in the Meta Quest Store. As of June 2022, Caveman Labs is officially a participating member of the Metaverse Standards Forum.

Creative Technologist (Designer, Developer, Director)

Product director & platform engineer for the game-changing sports news start-up, Fan Media Network. We are the first media company in the world where the viewers vote and help determine the network's correspondents (Patent Pending).

After some amazing client work as a Swift iOS Engineer for various Bottle Rocket mobile development teams, in February of 2022 I received a promotion to iOS team lead.  | |  Swift & SwiftUI iOS engineering and team leadership for Bottle Rocket clients such as MoneyGram, Mazoola, Outback Steakhouse, Cook Children's, and Albertson's Stores.

Lead iOS Engineer @ Bottle Rocket Studios

Co-founded, designed, and developed the GridironGrunts mobile broadcasting platform at Straightcast Media, which was acquired by Fox Networks in 2015. Collaboration and development continued for four years with studio personnel on what eventually became the Emmy-nominated Fox Sports ProCast app, as seen on national television.

Co-founded, designed and developed this hard-hitting wearable analytics service (wearable sensors, website, mobile app & backend platform) targeted at High School and College football athletes and created the company's brand identity, all with potential extensions into a wide range of sports.

Conscious Capitalism, Inc.

Branding consultant and graphic designer—spearheading identity, motion graphics, and event graphics for the Conscious Capitalism non-profit organization during its formative years.

Principal Designer

imc² (latterly MEplusYOU Agency)

MEplusYOU was the largest privately held agency in Advertising Age's "Top 50 Interactive Agencies" list, ranking overall at #10 during my time there. In my role as Creative Director, I directed the work of a team of designers, writers, and information architects on a wide range of digital marketing initiatives for Fortune 500 brands such as Coca-Cola, General Motors, Lowe's, Omni Hotels, Proctor & Gamble, Sara Lee, Unisys, and the MEplusYOU agency itself.

Creative Director

Responsible for hiring and managing a team of 30+ web designers and production artists. Facilitated process & structural improvements as the company grew from 50 to over 300 employees. Also responsible for some award-winning web design as available, including design work for the agency itself.

Design Manager

Responsible for creative direction tasks as assigned, as well as hands-on design of brand websites for Fortune 500 companies. I won awards in 5 different national web design competitions during this time.

I was frequently responsible for hands-on design of brand websites for Fortune 500 companies. My designs won awards in 4 different national web awards competitions during this time.

Known at the time as ExhibitGroup|Giltspur, my client teams included EDS, Nokia, Nortel Networks, and American Airlines.

I've been crafting identities and experiences for big brands for over 20 years as both designer and developer. After a decade of leading creative teams at a top-ten interactive marketing agency, I took a fruitful entrepreneurial leap into a decade of developing mobile apps and games.
