Joel Friedland is an accomplished real estate professional with over a 40 year track record in industrial real estate. He co-founded Epic/Savage Realty Partners in 1991 where he oversaw hiring and mentoring 60 industrial real estate professionals, many of whom became his partners. His group sold the firm to an international real estate company in 2014 and Joel started Brit Properties where he oversees leasing, sales, and asset management for numerous property investments on behalf of investors which include individual investors, trusts and families. As an industrial real estate broker and owner, Joel has secured over 2,000 industrial property leases and sales. He provides clients with comprehensive solutions for acquiring, selling, leasing and investment. His greatest accomplishment is maintaining valued relationships spanning five decades. Joel has been a member of the Society of Industrial Realtors (SIOR) since 1990 and The Association of Industrial Real Estate (AIRE), having served on the Board of Directors and moderating panel discussions on industrial real estate topics. As a syndicator, Joel has acquired over 100 industrial buildings with his partners and group of 250+ LP investors and family offices. In the past 4 years, his group has started buying assets debt free to enhance safety and staying power. Joel's niche is 10,000-50,000 square foot industrial assets in the Chicagoland area. Joel attended San Diego State University and the University of Michigan. He enjoys playing golf, podcasting and spending time with his family (particularly his 3 young grandchildren) in Deerfield, IL.
