Alight Solutions

Served as the Subject Matter Expert for system configuration, customer account setup, and data process flows for the Health Savings Account (HSA) product. 

Managed a portfolio of over 15 reports and created new reports with SQL as required by leadership teams and client managers.

Performed audits on Alight Solutions’ data to ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines.

Led training sessions with my aligned team and teams from other Alight departments.

Reviewed analysis and documentation created by others, and evaluated the results of test executions before they are performed on production data. 

Led daily calls with Alight Solutions’ banking partner, client delivery teams, and internal technology teams to provide and receive updates on ongoing projects.

Operations Manager

Served as project coordinator for four associates: led training sessions, assigned and reviewed projects on a daily basis, and conducted weekly meetings to provide and receive updates on projects, team, and company news.

Managed the transition in for new clients and the transition out for departing clients by checking client health plans for accurate balances, correct Flex Account/HSA debit card setup, and proper coverage dates through queries run on the Aon Hewitt database and the debit card processor's database.

Created and maintained over thirty standard operating procedures related to ongoing processes and system tools.

Performed quarterly audits of HSA financial data to ensure internal records match those of the client’s and Aon Hewitt’s banking partner.

Senior Data Analyst

Administered the yearly transfer of over $200 million in HSA contributions from client accounts to Aon Hewitt’s banking partner. Performed daily quality checks to ensure funds were transferred accurately and within required time frames. Researched and resolved problems before customers were impacted. Over the past three years over 99% of funds have been transferred correctly and within the required time frame. 

Wrote SQL queries that retrieved client, customer, and health care plan data to generate weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports to support the Client Delivery and Operations departments.

Created a library of over 50 frequently used queries for non-technical departments to use without requiring technical assistance, which led to faster responses to client requests and a 25% reduction in custom query requests.

Analyzed daily vendor reports for trends, errors, and inaccurate data to ensure benefits administration system accuracy.

Data Analyst

Configured Aon Hewitt's benefits system according to client requirements. Configuration involved customizing code to update the system's functionality per change orders.  

Designed and executed test plans by creating test accounts and scenarios and performing calculations for expected results. Determined if system configuration performed accurately and could be moved to production or if defects existed which needed further analysis. 

Researched, analyzed, and resolved benefits system errors initiated by customer calls.  Determined the source of the error and either resolved the error or routed it to the appropriate group. 

Documented key system processes including claim determination systems, health plan setup, and business tools for the departmental wiki used by over 200 associates.

Setup Configuration Specialist

The City of Orlando

Assisted Lead Database Administrator with the upgrade to Oracle 11g and assisted with providing support and daily maintenance for the City's four Oracle databases in a Unix environment.                                                                                                 

Redesigned and converted real estate and city engineering databases from Access to SQL Server. 

Programmed data entry applications with Visual Basic that created searchable records by ID, location, and keywords.
