Joey Ricard is a highly accomplished entrepreneur and visionary who has launched a diverse range of ventures. While in college, he founded Ricard Technologies at the young age of 22, providing technology-related services such as server, VoIP, and POS setups to local businesses in partnership with CompUSA, Best Buy, and AT&T. Ricard Technologies also had a computer repair store on campus at Florida State University. Joey's expertise in technology has enabled him to develop innovative solutions such as a Smart Retail Kiosk system that integrates with online CRM and ERP systems for secure transactions and identity verification. He has also created Thumbs of the Dead, a unique and exciting zombie typing game that will be launching soon. Joey's passion for adventure and travel has led him to live abroad for extended periods, immersing himself in new cultures and experiences. He has even been bitten by a piranha, adding to his adventurous stories. Joey's innovation and expertise in the cannabis, hemp, and pharmaceutical industries led him to participate in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in 2019, where he launched his CBD vending machine. Although he was initially kicked out of the event due to misunderstandings about the product, Joey made history as the first cannabis company to showcase their technology at CES after explaining that hemp was legalized and the product was about a legal substance. In addition to his ventures, Joey has also been awarded 36 patents in multiple countries, thanks to his experience working with APIs and his degree in information technology.
