Responsible for working with the CEO and CTO to develop and deliver the marketing strategy to support its go-to-market launch activities and investment round. This includes the creation of personas for products that sit within the Diaspora ecosystem, undertaking a social media audit for the identification of key influencers to engage with, setting the budget, creating pitch documents and presenting them to potential investors.

In a newly created role, I have built a team consisting of freelance content writers, designers, a part-time marketing manager, a marketing communications executive as well as managing a roster of marketing interns to work in collaboration with me so we are ready to launch. Hands-on work includes developing the company culture with our operations team to create an environment of comfort, trust and accountability, daily workflow management with daily stand-up meetings, setting up of Hubspot CRM, MailChimp, redeveloping our websites on WordPress (www.diasporafinance.com & www.diaspora.ltd) ensuring they are fully optimised for SEO (Google Tag Manager & Analytics), setting up of PPC campaigns and the creation of a bank of content so we can syndicate this across various channels to build a community and generate leads to ‘beta-test’ our platform (launch campaign due to go-live W/C 24 February 2020).  To date, I have successfully supported the Investor Relations team in raising £600K in Series A investment.

Responsible for commercial marketing activities for Xeim - Centaur Media's marketing businesses that strive for excellence in marketing.

In a newly created role, I am responsible for driving the B2B cross-Xeim marketing strategy and tactical implementation which includes the soon to be launched Xeim ‘Network’ and ‘Panel.’ Designed to encourage cross-brand collaboration, I am introducing an Account-Based Marketing approach to encourage greater engagement from our key clients and audience base to drive efficiency and sales revenue.

Interim Commercial Marketing Manager

- Led strategically on all client projects and directed a team of marketing personnel with a breadth of specialisms.

- Directed marketing strategies for all brands under the Globespan media umbrella which included Show House Jobs, Show House magazine, the WhatHouse? Awards and the WhatHouse? creative agency.
- Managed a £1m budget and held full responsibility for the marketing plan and execution including e-mail / social media campaigns, PPC, brand positioning, tone of voice and marketing performance / analysis.
- Undertook the curation of sales driven content which supported the B2C customer base learn about all stages of the home buying process.
- Led on all aspects of event management through full lifecycles for lead and revenue generation purposes.

Mobliciti

- Worked closely with Mobliciti's web development and design agency, including the project management of the redevelopment of the Mobliciti website.
- Ensured the customer journey was fully mapped with clear CTAs and opportunities for data capture.
- Ensured content was fully optimised for SEO purposes (keyword density research) reporting (Google Analytics & Pardot) and made regular CMS updates (WordPress).
- Worked with key partners to secure marketing budgets and ensure our marketing overlays theirs.

- Marketing strategy: full responsibility of the Arkk Solutions marketing plan, brand positioning, tone of voice, new product launches, marketing performance and analysis.

- Marketing implementation: working closely with both the Sales and Customer Excellence Teams, I have day-to-day responsibility for the delivery of all marketing activities. These include: email marketing and automation (Pardot), data, website management (WordPress), Google Analytics, PR, events (webinars, conferences, breakfast briefings), social, PPC (Google & Bing), SEO, content creation (blogs, video, white papers etc), strategic partnerships etc.

Webcredible

With full responsibility for Webcredible’s overall marketing implementation (online and offline), from conception all the way through to execution, my responsibilities included:

- Develop and deliver a robust, multi-platform marketing and communications plan, with delegation of tasks to the wider marketing team including a Marketing Executive, Product Management Executive and Digital Consultant.
- Develop and manage the content and strategy for the Webcredible website (4000 visitors per day) and newsletter (15,000+ subscribers), including sign-off of all PPC and SEO activity. 
- Project manage the redevelopment of the website for launch in Spring 2015.
- Write content for all marketing materials, including case studies, blogs, award nominations and email marketing.
- Organise Webcredible events including SkillSwaps (informal events) and high-level (formal), roundtable events to support various vertical market entry (lead generation) campaigns.
- Find appropriate events, seminars and conferences for us to exhibit and have a presence at.
- Liaise with and manage our agencies to ensure the maximum possible results, including PR, video production, print design and web development.
- Manage, monitor and develop our social media presence including our Twitter channel, Facebook, LinkedIn.

CIPFA

Responsibilities:

- Project manage the launch of the CIPFA Finance Apprenticeship Scheme - targeting employers and NEETs across London, Manchester and Birmingham. This includes the development and delivery of a multi-platform marketing communications plan, partnership development, managing agencies for video production and media engagement.
- Project manage CIPFA’s portfolio of qualifications including the relaunch of the CIPFA Professional Qualification in 2011.
- Manage partnerships with other institutions for the effective promotion of niche qualifications.
- Customer profiling, segmentation, targeting, campaign planning and evaluation.
- Manage all Regional communications to CIPFA members and students - including building emails in Gatormail and advising them on social media strategies.
- Develop and deliver a bi-monthly prospective student newsletter, produce IP and content on an on-going basis.
- Develop and deliver the CIPFA student video blog that follows three CIPFA trainees as they progress through their studies for the CIPFA Professional Qualification.
- Develop and deliver a series of webinars utilising key internal and external stakeholders for the promotion of CIPFA's qualifications.
- Copy-writing for marketing collateral, print articles, blogs and production of eShots. 
- Maintain and build relationships with media agencies, designers, printers and mail-house.
- Research new routes to market.
- Search Engine Marketing & SEO work with the web-team on the mapping and production of the new CIPFA website - launched July 2012.
- Updating and building of content for the website via Sitecore (CMS).
