My primary objective is to remove any Distribution or Logistical obstacles from our GM's and Team's plates so that they can focus more on serving our wonderful customers.  Everything else falls in behind that.

Report to the SVP of Supply Chain  while overseeing 2 salaried direct reports while managing a P&L of $540MM/year across 15 third party facilities.

•	Realized $1.2MM annual cost avoidance by increasing average delivery sizes through delivery frequency reduction for the Carl’s Jr. system
•	Sourced and implemented Transportation Management System (TMS) to provide greater inbound visibility and management
•	Leveraged CKE’s inbound freight spend to offset rising distribution costs for company stores and franchisees
•	Sourced national courier service to reduce cost and provide service for all special deliveries to restaurants
•	Coordinated with distribution partners to reduce distribution operating costs and minimize impact of increased delivery fees
•	Consolidated and bid frozen and dry goods re-distribution services

Director of Distribution and Logistics

Report to the VP of Logistics & Distribution while overseeing 2 salaried direct reports while managing a P&L of $540MM/year across 16 third party facilities.

•	Implemented, stabilized, and managed $470MM distribution system upgrade for all restaurants
•	Realized $1.8MM annual cost avoidance by coordinating with distribution partners to ensure      alignment of Guaranteed Backhaul program
•	Reduced company’s $70MM inbound logistics budget by $1.2MM by partnering with Marketing, Operations, and other internal departments for special nationwide promotions and new menu items
•	Developed and implemented weekly KPI’s to ensure that contractual performance standards were in   place
•	Partnered with Quality Assurance on GS-128 compliance project for audits and product recalls
•	Provided timely and effective communications to the field for routing changes, special promotions, and changes within the distribution system

Senior Manager Distribution and Logistics

ACH Food Companies

Reported to the Director of Logistics & Distribution overseeing 85% of entire supply chain consisting of 10 direct reports across 8 facilities managing a P&L of $67/MM year.

•	Reduced company’s $30MM annual transportation budget by taking ownership of company’s carrier base including contract negotiation, performance coaching, and on boarding of new carriers
•	Implemented cost saving initiatives, which positively affected company’s bottom line $500K - $1.2MM year over year
•	Improved delivery times for major customer by balancing orders across week resulting in customer chargeback reduction, warehouse work flow balance, and better carrier capacity
•	Created Customer Direct Ship Program for club customers which improved order lead times and reduced both customer and company handling costs
•	Developed, proposed, and implemented company’s carrier strategy to ensure capacity sustainability for the next 3 to 5 years
•	Executed Lean Logistics TMS and PINC YMS at Summit, IL plant to ensure the plant’s raw material and finish goods needs were being met
•	Analyzed, bid, and assigned third party dedicated fleet at plant in Summit, IL to ensure that raw materials/finished goods were delivered on a JIT schedule

Logistics and Distribution Manager

Reported to the Director of Logistics & Distribution overseeing 85% of entire supply chain consisting of 10 direct reports across 8 facilities managing a P&L of $67/MM year.

•	Transitioned company’s logistics operations back in-house from out sourced third party
•	Developed, coached and contracted carrier pool consisting of 78 Truckload, Less Than Truckload (both dry van and refrigerated), Intermodal, and Ocean carriers
•	Reduced company’s $67MM annual transportation budget year over year 
•	Created and implemented carrier scorecards to improve service to 99.51% YTD
•	Developed departmental KPI’s to drive accountability and efficiency
•	Acted as logistics subject matter expert during company transition to new operating software (SAP)
•	Developed routing guide for to effectively manage carrier cost and service on a “by lane” basis
