I messed up last week.

For the first time in two years…

On the surface it looked like I dropped the ball…

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗬&𝗟 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗤𝟭:

• £5500+ added to our MRR.
• Hit a record number of clients.
• Hit full capacity for 1-2-1 work.
• Our best-ever in-person masterminds.
• More high ticket work than we know what to do with.

It’s clearly been our best quarter yet.

It was my brother from anotha mother’s birthday on Friday.

Never once have I regretted doing something outside the norm with someone in business.

1. 𝗜𝗳 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗱𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲.

Our goal is to grow this company into millions a month.

Yet we were being complacent with our AD spend.

For no reason.

Off the back of a 10-minute discussion:

We 2.5x’d our monthly AD spend…

Which is roughly what we estimated would put Jack at full capacity for us to grow.

𝟮. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘁.

We were trying to future-proof the business…

In areas/territory we had never experienced before.

So the advice was simple:

Create the pain first, and then solve it.

The pain will play a huge role in how fast you move…

And inevitably how fast you solve it.

3. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

We didn’t want to add fuel to the fire of Y&L’s acquisition…

Because we wanted to ensure we could retain EVERY SINGLE client we signed.

Now although there’s power in that thought…

It was stopping us from growing.

Because we haven’t experienced high churn recently...

We were trying to future-proof the business on hypotheticals.

Rather than absolutes.

After completing the high performance day challenge, I have created my IDEAL routine:

When I went to Conor I had 5 requirements: (𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬𝘭𝘺)

• I wanted 15+ hours working on the business.
• I have 12+ hours working in the business.
• 3 x gym sessions.
• 2 x fun cardio sessions.
• The rest free to do what I want.

And somehow within one hour on a call…

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆.

And overall, more leverage for the business.

We definitely reached that point at the end of last year…

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲’𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳:
• Andy’s had 2 weeks in Dubai.
• I’ve had a week away at a hotel and spa.

Whilst having a record quarter 1.

With a record quarter 2 in our sights.
