My task is to establish the company in APAC, generating agreed to revenues and establishing a highly productive network of partnerships in NZ, Singapore, Malaysia and India initially. 

AI is very much the hot topic in this region however, buyers are still in the cautious and expletory phase assesing the likely benefits to investments needed.

Infocouncil has been providing good governance  and meeting management solutions in Australia for more than 20 years 
With its head office in Sydney, Australia has offices in Australia, India and New Zealand.
We are a subsidiary of   Vela Software Asia Pacific, which is a subsidiary of publicly listed Canadian company Constellation Software Inc. (TSX:CSU). Constellation serves more than 125,000 customers in over 100 countries.
My primary responsibility was to implement material changes to the solution, to marketing, to sales and at the same time increase key global ratios on revenue growth, ROI and departmental contributions.
This also required introduction of new staff ownership of outcomes, proactivity and team morale and collaboration.

Outcomes delivered include bringing new team members into the company, changed to a more proactive sale and marketing strategy and the teams taking responsivity for their actions and outcomes.

A $2 million Cloud initiative project was undertaken commencing in 2022 and the project is scheduled for Beta release in April this year. I managed the project over the past 18 months.

Medtech Global is a health technology company. Its successful merger with Australian Healthcare Technology Limited means Medtech Global is now the second-largest solution provider for Australian healthcare professionals. 

John leads Medtech by transforming the organisation into sales, channels, marketing operations, and services. Successfully rejuvenated the business and achieved record sales growth with consistent over-achievement.

K. J. Ross & Associates

Responsible for designing and implementing long and short-term sales, marketing, operational strategies to achieve financial and business objectives. Challenged with turning around a loss making business, I initiated a business transformation program to return the company to profit and fulfil shareholder requirements. Conducting a wide-ranging review of operating structures, external operating environment and competitor offerings, I overhauled company positioning and formulated a compelling competitive differentiation. In conjunction to managing the commercialisation of new product and service offerings I also led the implementation of a large-scale program to improve operational productivity and effective resource allocation.

•	Successfully returned the business to profit, doubling revenue in a two year timeframe;
•	Elevated brand positioning and created an innovative and leading edge value proposition to grow client base;
•	Secured a multi-million government contract following launch of a new highly competitive product;
•	Built strategic technical partnerships to boost service offering and secure larger deals;
•	Increased customer base fourfold in two years

FileNet

Responsible for driving market expansion and integrating acquired product companies into the Filenet portfolio, while ensuring alignment with wider business financial and operational objectives. One significant challenge in this role was how to run direct sales and channel partner model that would facilitate mutual collaboration, a challenge that had not been overcome in any other region. Following the decision to restructure incentive schemes, operating KPIs and the sales model, I was able to promote working relationships while ensuring minimal impact to individual earnings or loss of revenue to the business. 

•	Achieved year on year growth in revenue and profitability, meeting or exceeding financial objectives;
•	Successful integrated acquired low-end competitor, effectively managing a challenging change program to align sales approach and elevate acquired product positioning in the Filenet portfolio;
•	Established key partnerships with a number of strategic vendors in New Zealand including Fujitsu and HP.

Managing Director

AXS-One

Initially VP for APAC business development program, I was responsible for designing and implementing business development and sales strategy to achieve market penetration and revenue growth. Creating a value proposition and targeted sales campaign relevant to the competitive environment of the APAC market, developing key partnerships to enable market penetration and establishment of physical operating presence was key to facilitating growth achieved. Subsequently promoted to VP International situated in New York, I continued to drive market expansion and profitability performance for the Group, opening new offices in Poland, France and Slovakia.

•	Recruited, trained and managed a team of successful sales operators, building productive strategic partnerships and achieving an exponential increase in revenue for APAC region;
•	As VP International, delivered 25% of overall Group revenue, doubling international revenue to $160 million.
•	Secured largest ever contract in company history following expansion and penetration of the European market. The Polish Railway contract was $8 million and was won in partnership with IBM over an 18 months sales cycle.

In this role, I was promoted from CFO position to acting Managing Director and subsequently appointed to the Board. 
During my tenure as Financial Controller, I supported the MD with the evaluation of financial data and the management of all fiscal processes. 
As Managing Director, I managed a business transformation program to overhaul organisational structures, reposition the company service offering and drive product diversification to ensure future organisational growth and success.

•	Conceptualised a diversified product offering, implementing strategic business plans to achieve repositioning as a dominant provider of underwriting services to the Mining Industry;
•	Implemented robust business development strategy, resulting in securing 80% of top 100 target organisations as customers within a 5-year period.
