My favourite quote " If we all watched each other's backs...We'd never have to worry about our own" I owe my success, my experience to my networking and connection skills. I’ve gained these skills from both 40 years of experience of being active in business and my communities and from focusing on others. I am always learning. For many years now I’ve been asked to help and teach others the skills that I have acquired. I teach the “human side” of connections and show how they can make a real difference in building your career and your business. I help companies put that "human side" into their marketing and communication efforts online (websites and social media). Customer service has been a passion of mine and my experience as a frontline employee, manager, and director for many years along with responding to thousands of online reviews has given me key insights into working with people and not only resolving issues but turning those issues into future loyalty bonds. I believe in getting involved which shows in all my roles on boards and in community groups. I also believe in having fun and injecting humor in your networking and connection building. I even teach how my personal passion for the outdoors (I’m known as the “Mtn Man”) relates to my business and networking life. Named 2021 Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year, CHEK TV Unsung Islander of the week. I love working with, mentoring, coaching, and supporting individuals, small businesses, organizations and Not-For-Profits and have done all across the province of British Columbia!
