John spent over 20 years in the energy efficient field helping make large buildings use less energy. He started and built a successful lighting wholesale company, was the COO of a boutique ESCO and was the COO and Division Manager of the Energy Efficiency Group within Blanchard Associates, a national representative of lighting controls manufacturers. For two years he served as the Vice President of design and build lighting controls contractors designing and installing lighting controls in military bases, K-12 & higher education as well as large commercial & industrial projects. During his 11 years at FSC and Mirus he successfully executed a sale to private equity and stayed on as the CEO for over three years and continues on as both a shareholder and board of directors member.
