With over 30 years of experience in innovation (specialising in engineering, technology and ICT sectors) at Standard Ledger I exercise my skills in assessing eligible R&D activities, quantifying R&D claims, and assisting with AusIndustry reviews. I also assist companies to access government and other grant programmes. Prior to joining KPMG over ten years ago, I worked at AusIndustry in the R&D Tax Concession and Innovation Grants teams. As a Customer Service Manager there I gained a comprehensive understanding of the available government grants and incentives. As a career research manager/scientist in water treatment/resources engineering, environmental science and other fields In previous positions, I was chiefly responsible for the management of Research and Development (R&D) projects (individually) and programs (collectively). This involved establishing and maintaining linkages with stakeholder individuals and groups from industry, business, academia, and various research organisations—as well as the United Water International parent companies: RWE Thames Water; Veolia Water; and KBR (ex Halliburton).
