Chapter Three

As Managing Partner of Chapter Three in San Francisco, I am responsible for the overall successful execution of the business. 

Full PNL responsibility for Chapter Three, with positive revenue and margin growth year over year since taking on the role.  

Responsible for acquisition and development of a number of key clients including Pinterest, City of San Francisco, UCSF, UC Berkeley, 8x8, CooperVision, San Francisco Airport, and hundreds of other top brands. 

Responsible for all sales development, sales, and contract negations for Chapter Three.  

Lead development and maturation of key new and emerging capabilities for Chapter Three, including business strategy, enterprise technology sales, and delivery, including making key hires for the organization.

Responsible for making Chapter Three a recognizable and respected leader in the emerging Drupal 8 line of business both from a business side and from a community development and support angle.   

Developed sustainable, profitable and recurring product lines for Chapter Three.   

Successfully brought to market true industry-defining Drupal Development experiences for leading brands. 
 
Established through internal development and hiring strategy a strong, collaborative leadership team focused on smart, flexible ways to deliver Drupal solutions to industry-leading clients and build passionate, engaged teams.

Managing Partner

Responsible for end to end sales process for Drupal consulting, Drupal development, training and support. I do all business development for Chaper Three. I work with my team to manage all incoming projects, manage finances and HR issues and continue growing Chapter Three. I work with the  Drupal Community through SFDUG, BADCamp and other events.  Develop and market products targeted to specific industry verticals, Drupal training and support.

I founded and organize  San Francisco Drupal Users Group - SFDUG each month.   SFDUG is an active  user group made up of people who use or want to learn to use Drupal.   Each month we present innovative speakers and topics around Drupal. Over 700 members and growing SFDUG is a great place to get your Drupal fix for the month, come on by!

I was responsible for managing the marketing, PR and social media aspects of Drupalcon San Francisco. 

The PR campaign I led helped make SF Drupalcon the largest Drupal event ever. 

I worked with a PR firm to create buzz around the event and Drupal as a CMS.   Over 60 press mentions and 15 reporters was the result of that effort. 

I created a twitter campaign. Twitter clicks were the 3rd largest click refer on the web site. 

I managed the Press release cycle and copy.

I sold ISP Networks to Winstar.   I then assumed the role of West Coast Director of E-Business Solutions.   My primary role was to act as a  Technical Architect for Winstar Clients.  I met with fortune 500 clients and created ebusiness solutions for our technical team to implement using the array of products and services Winstar provided.

ISP Networks Inc

ISP Networks was one of the first all business internet service providers in the Bay Area.   We specialized in T1's Frame Relay, ISDN, DSL, Colocation, and custom web solutions.  We helped many companies and people experience the internet for the first time.

Slip.net was the first commercial ISP in the bay area.   I was employe #1 and helped build the company up.  I was responsible for tech, sales, admin and support.   We defined the path for how commercial internet service providers provided internet access to the public.
