At Stanford Children's Health | Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford, I serve as an Ortho DME Coordinator, coordinating durable medical equipment services for orthopedic patients, and ensuring timely delivery and setup of necessary equipment. My role involves liaising between healthcare providers, patients, and DME suppliers to facilitate the procurement of orthopedic devices and supplies. I maintain accurate records of DME orders, deliveries, and patient interactions. I ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while staying updated on industry trends and advancements in orthopedic DME technology to enhance patient care. In addition to my role at Stanford Children's Health, I am the President, Licensee, and Administrator of Hopkins Manor, a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) in Redwood City, California. In this capacity, I am responsible for the overall operation and management of the facility, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, including the California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 22. I oversee the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met. My responsibilities also include maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, managing staff and resources effectively, and overseeing financial operations. I act as the primary liaison between the facility, residents’ families, healthcare providers, and the community, promoting the facility through marketing and outreach efforts while implementing and monitoring quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of care.
