Who I Am I am a creative thinker and writer and a leader with interests in education, economics, social justice, and mental health advocacy. Other industries I find fascinating include gaming, entertainment, journalism, and digital media. I enjoy camaraderie in the workplace, taking on challenges, and coming up with new ideas and objectives. I am a values-centered “people person” with a growth mindset who gets the job done. What I Do I envision a world in which the arts are celebrated, students have equitable access to education, and mental health is taken seriously. My mission is to use my skills in leadership, relationship building, and communications to achieve these goals. Thus far, I have served in roles and companies in the corporate, nonprofit, and public sectors. This diverse set of experiences demonstrates my versatility and ability to serve in a variety of capacities. What’s Unique About Me I love taking initiative, coming up with projects and ideas, and making things happen. This innovative spirit has led me to becoming a freelance writer, participating in a podcast, and growing into a leadership role as President of the Student Association of Economics.  Outside of work, I enjoy exercising, reading, meeting new people, traveling, and partaking in culinary exploration. I am curious by nature and am always looking forward to the next adventure.   Key Accomplishments and Skills 1️⃣ Hosted a workshop for youth and their parents on financial skills on behalf of the borough of Brooklyn’s president’s office. 2️⃣ Published a book review of On Earth, We're Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong in addition to the essay “The Cost of #Efficiency” about my experience participating in the 2018 March for Our Lives event in downtown Los Angeles. 3️⃣ Won 2nd place in “Shark Tank” style competition at Purchase College, SUNY for “Lit Caves” which is an online platform to help students improve their reading skills. Software: Airtable, Trello, Microsoft Office, Ring Central, and Google Suite Essential Skills: Writing and Blogging, Podcasting, Collaboration, Public Speaking, Training and Development, Calendaring, Making Presentations, Program Coordination, Partnership Building What’s Next I am seeking to leverage my experience, values, and skills and flex my creative muscle to come up with innovative solutions. I am open to roles as a writer, content developer and producer, and program coordinator or any role where I can serve, grow professionally, and make best use of what I have to offer.
