His strongest interest is in the successful implementation of Information Technology and processes for business capabilities and he has held various permanent and consulting positions over his 30 years. The responsibilities have have included international project & program management, business capability and solution architecture roles as well as business development in various markets such as Insurance, Telecommunications, Banking, Logistics, Energy and Health Services. The outcomes have lead to infrastructure roll-outs, IT/Business transformations and the accessing of new markets for customers scaling from start-ups through to large international corporations. Outside of project assignments he has in the past involved himself in the establishment and progression of the Solution/Enterprise/Data Architecture profession and methods via IASA. This coincides with his interest in the data science domain and where he not only believes in, but also sees, where the great potential in the innovative and intelligent use of the ever increasing sets of data and information are. Thus affecting all aspects of private and business life. A major assignment that he recently worked on was within the realm of information and records management together with the Chief Data Office. After working on aspects of information security and unstructured data he moved on to the business architecture requirements surrounding the need for a central data source catalogue within an international bank and it's role in DDM (Data Maturity Model).
