I have two decades worth of experience as a professional problem solver, both as an engineer and as a scientist. I thrive on challenges and working in an environment where I can learn and grow. If you were to ask my seven year old daughter what my Super Power is she likely would say "having hairy armpits", but I believe it's not only my willingness to take on difficult tasks but my ability to really see the big picture, both for the company and our customers. My current area of interests is furthering my knowledge of developing on cloud infrastructure and utilizing the latest data science tools. I'm currently finishing a certificate in Data Science through Harvard and then plan on obtaining a AWS Associate Solutions Architect certification. Prior to my software engineering career I worked as a research scientist and laboratory manager in a biosafety level three infectious disease laboratory, primarily studying viruses involved in cancer disease states. Many of the tests you hear about in the news regarding Covid I had expertise in developing. It's during this decade plus worth of experience where I learned the art of generating and analyzing data, then applying it to difficult problems.
