* Developed firmware to interface with linear actuators and encoders
* Designed a ROS control system to interface with sensors, motors, custom linear actuator controllers 
 and user input devices. (CAN, RS232 and I2C).
* Developed simulators to emulate the behavior of GPS, motors and power systems
* Developed a touch screen user interface to interact with the control system and provide maps and navigational information. (MapBox, Unity)
* Developed a node.js server to relay and log telemetry information (SQLite, Javascript, node.js)

Ported precision landing from ArduCopter to ArduPlane
Implemented an I2C PX4 driver for the AK09916 magnetometer
Developed a multithreaded software application to control a drone port. The application pulls local weather information and posts it to a REST API.
Created an embedded  software application to stream video, drone commands and monitor the drone while in flight.

Maintained a Python-based unit testing framework to validate Netconf functionality.
Implemented SNMP bulk repetition and PDU size limiting on an industrial network switch.

Developed software for an embedded  power monitoring system and the associated REST API that made up the user interface.
Developed the software for an automated test and programming fixture.

Semiconductor Engineering Intern

I am an embedded software engineer with experience in telecom, robotics, UAVs and industrial networking technology. There's nothing I enjoy more than taking a sensor or other electronic component, looking at the datasheet and creating a driver that allows a microcontroller or embedded computer to get data from it.
