I am currently in a leadership role within retail, and I am developing myself so that long term I can move to a learning and people-focused career. I have spent my management career up to this point within B&Q and it has given me a great platform to learn, create, experiment and practice with a wide range of skills, behaviours, thinking, and approaches that I have applied to both myself and the teams I work with. I love to learn and have taken an active approach to my development through reading and listening to books, articles, audiobooks, and podcasts: my total listen time is 200 days. (During which time you could have gone round the world 15 times in an air balloon) My love of learning about topics such as leadership, mindset, psychology, and emotions is what prompted me to start the Level 5 coaching programme through Lifetime in January 2022. Whilst doing the apprenticeship a fire has been ignited for coaching and self-development which I have a true passion and skill for. I have created my own knowledge and learning hub that allows me to catalogue and curate all my learning in one place and then share it with others.
