Views expressed here are my own and are not to be seen as reflective of those held by DoorDash. My name is Jonathan Smith. I am 31 years old and reside in North Georgia with my wife and daughter. I joined the workforce in June 2006 at age 15. For nearly 12 years, I worked at Chick-fil-A, serving as a Team Member, Team Leader, and Supervisor at three different stores across the North Georgia area. I completed my undergraduate degree at Liberty University for a Bachelor of Science degree in Religion with a cognate in Biblical and Theological Studies, graduating with honors, Summa Cum Laude, in March 2015. I am currently a student at Moody Theological Seminary working on a Master of Ministry Studies degree with a focus in Preaching. I served as a youth pastor at Crossview Church for 2 years as well as a Ministry Intern at Alpharetta First Baptist Church. In March 2018, I was hired as a freelance transcriber for Rev.com. In April 2018, I accepted a position in Customer Service with Real Floors Atlanta. In August 2019, I became the purchasing agent for Real Floors Commercial, one of the largest and fastest growing commercial flooring companies in the Southeast. I handled purchasing, inventory, and logistics within our Operations Department. During my time there, there were warehouse locations in both Kennesaw, Georgia and Nashville, Tennessee as well as affiliate warehouses all over the Southeast. In November 2021, I became a Supply Chain Specialist for DoorDash. I was a buyer for our DashMart locations throughout the United States. In September 2022, I joined the Local Assortment Team at DoorDash where I work with and source local vendors whose products we want to carry in our DashMart locations. I also am an intern at Keystone Baptist Church, where I serve as the FCA Campus Chaplain for Allatoona High School along with being the webmaster and co-social media manager.
