During my time in this role, I will be doing the following task(s):

TFW: 
- Online banking, pay stubs, and software (ADP) 
-Obtaining required documents (OHIP, SIN, Drivers License) 
-Coordinating transportation (flights, groceries) 
-Support compliance inspections and audits (public health, service Canada) 
-Support with TFW-related programming, training, and resources as they were needed 

Health & Safety Coordinator: 
-Ensured compliance with the company's health and safety program for all personnel and visitors 
-Monitor regulatory changes and update programs as needed 
-Co-chair of the Joint health and Safety Committee (JHSC), managing member training, meeting documentation, and committee operations 
-Conducted and documented monthly workplace/migrate housing inspections, addressing hazards. and manage spot audits

HR Admin: 
-Handle general HR inquiries and direct them to the appropriate HR representatives
-Assist with HR projects, policy admin, and translation of materials 
-Maintain and update HR documentation and records in various systems 
-Manage HR inventory and order necessary materials and supplies
-Track HR calendars and deadlines, including training and regulatory requirements 
-Support Health and Safety priorities as they were needed
-Create and maintain standard operating procedures for HR tasks 
-Assist with additional HR admin tasks as needed.

Human Resources Coordinator

Duties completed in this role: 

Recruitment: 
•Supported the HR team with pre-scanning of candidates for associate roles 
•Worked closely with the HR supervisor in getting candidates booked for interviews 
•Supported in the full recruitment cycle process 
- Used BOX document sign to send candidates offer letter via digital  
•Ran new hire orientation where I introduced the companies rules, AODA, and health and safety overview 

Culture: 
• Supported the Culture Supervisor with culture event planning and execution 
•Helped with the Employee Luncheon by ordering tent, organizing lunch intake forms, and supporting where needed day of event 
•Monthly creation of the culture boards with relevant information and topics that were/are inclusive 
•Supported with the sourcing of golf tournament raffle items and golf graphics 
•Stocking of the food pantries and coffee supplies in front office and lunchrooms 
•Shopping for the food pantry with the HR supervisor 

Health/Safety: 
•Sitting on the JHSC 
•Worked closely with the assistant manager of health and safety supporting where needed 
•Created Work instructions for new fans in the plant to ensure associates know how to operate them
•overview of forklift training and organizing the operators by year of expiry 
•supported with safety checks 
•Updated and presented up to date forklift training sheets 
•First Aid updating and booking of sessions for workers 

Administration: 
•supported with associate data input 
•Helped associates with questions about uniform, internal job opportunities, and shoe vouchers 
•Filing of associate documents into their files 
•supported the HR team with micro-market overview

Volunteer Based-Role: 

As Vice-President of Community Relations & Government Affairs these are some of tasks I do on the daily: 

a)    Coordinate efforts regarding community relations including press releases; ribbon cuttings, open houses and other public relations events.
b)    Coordinate efforts regarding government affairs including informing the Board of potential issues that should be addressed and helping to coordinate politically connected events with the help of the Events chair.
c)    Report to the Executive Committee regarding community relations and government affairs efforts and in the absence of a committee chair, to the Board.
d)    Assist sub-committees as needed.

Programs I started for the BBT:
1. Member Feature Series Program- Weekly post sponsoring and spotlights a new member 
2- Wherearewefridays- Weekly post sponsoring and supporting both members and non-members with a feature of their storefront on our social platforms

2024- Project:
•Currently creating a 4 year Business Plan, Training and Development, and performance review reports to better support and run the board for the next 4 years.

-Responsible for assisting in the coordination, supervision, and implementation of municipal events including event set-up
-Organizing and providing direction and supervision to event volunteers

-Providing customer service to event participants, event execution, and event take-down.
