I love creativity. It’s always been in my life from an early age with stacks of sketchbooks all the way through to my career to today. EThey say doing what you love is key. If so, I’m fortunate. With a diverse career spanning publishing, digital media, agency work, and now SaaS, I've spearheaded countless campaigns, nurtured brands, and crafted compelling content for a broad spectrum of clients including giants like Microsoft, Capcom, PlayStation, Nivea, Pantene, Nike, GitHub, Eficode, Praqma, Euler Hermes, Smirnoff, and Gillette. Each project has been an opportunity for collaboration and learning, underscoring the importance of adaptability in our dynamic world. I’m also a self-confessed nerd, geek and person who (sorry) doesn’t like football. There I’ve said it. Also, I have a deep fascination with technology that comes from a hand-me-down Commodore 64 and has never stopped. My early years in publishing before the .com bubble burst provided a rich environment for growth and experimentation. Starting as a Designer and evolving into a Creative Director, I've contributed to esteemed publishers like EMAP, Time Inc., Bauer, Egmont, and Hearst, embracing the challenges and opportunities each role presented. In 2016, alongside co-founders Bruce, Leif, Mike, and Lars, I seized the chance to blend my passions into Phable—a creative agency tailored for tech companies. Phable.io emerged as a platform for elevating tech narratives, making complex topics like continuous delivery and DevOps accessible to all. My journey took another exciting turn in 2021 with Kosli, reuniting with former colleagues and friends in a role that harnesses my expertise to enhance the brand's presence across digital platforms. Kosli helps record all the facts you care about in your DevOps, delivering faster changes, stronger security and painless audits by giving customers a map of their changes, the ability to search it and to export it instantly for audit. This rich data is proving to be useful in a lot of cases, test evidence, environment drift, flying through ISO27001 and more to be discovered. To sum up what I do I help people fall in love with brands, humanise them and tell their stories. Combining the art of storytelling with the communication power of design helps the brands achieve their true potential, communicate that with customers and engage them.
