Here’s how you actually do it (what the gurus aren’t telling you):


Let me give you some context:

Growing up, the term “Save your pennies” is instilled into your brain.

A lot of the financial gurus on social media preach the same thing.

When in reality…

This is the worst advice you could get.

Here’s why:


Unless you have a lot of money coming in every month…

Saving the little you do have won’t get you anywhere.

Sure you might save an extra $100/month…

But that’s all you're doing.

The real way to get ahead:

Increase your income.

Here’s exactly what I mean:



Cancelling Netflix won’t make you financially free.

That’s only an extra $7/month & $84/year.

The same goes for ordering Uber Eats. 

Of course, it’s irresponsible to do this every day…

But saving $25/week won’t allow you to retire early.

Trust me, I know…



6 years ago I was making 6-figures at my corporate job.

You’d think I’d be able to save a ton of money right?

Well, I couldn’t.

I was still barely getting by in New York.

& when a huge layoff at my company made me realize I’d be screwed without it…



I needed to find a better way to financial freedom.

So here’s what I started doing:

Instead of saving what I already had…

I increased my income (& ended up doubling it in 3 years).

Here’s how:



I leveraged my 9-5 income to “house hack” (Buy a property, live in it, & rent out the other rooms).

I didn’t need a ton of capital because I used 3.5% downpayments.

& the rooms I rented out paid off the mortgage.

I did this with a new property each year for 3 years.



Then I used that cash flow to invest in an Airbnb property.

Which brought my 2nd income to over $5000/month.

So I went all in & bought 3 more Airbnb properties over the next 3 years.

This brought my 2nd income to:


 $15,000/month.

& I was still working my 6-figure corporate job the entire time.

So of course when my 2nd income was making more than my 9-5 income…

I left & went all in on real estate.

Today I’m at $25,000/month & financially free.

If I stuck to saving all my money.

At best I would’ve saved enough to retire at 65 with a decent savings account.

But that wasn’t good enough for me.

I wanted financial freedom in my 20s.

& I got there at 27 by investing in cash-flowing assets like real estate.



If you can take anything away from this it should be:

1. You can’t save your way to financial freedom.

2. You need to invest in cash-flowing assets.

Stop focusing on saving what money you have & start increasing how much money you make.

We hire these roles overseas:

• Executive Assistants

• Accountants
• Bookkeepers

At $5-$8/hour compared to American employees charging $38-$62 per hour…

We're saving 92%. 

This allows us to reinvest in the business & improve our margins.

Overseas employees are simply outstanding. 

Not only are they highly skilled…

But they also approach work with a sense of humility. 

Their work ethic is unmatched & they speak great English.

I was blown away by how they deliver exceptional results while working remotely.

Here’s the exact process of how I hired & employed a team of overseas employees:

1. I organized a list of things I didn’t like doing or wasn’t good at doing.

Things like: 

• Bookkeeping - Delegated financial tracking to free up time 
• STR management/messaging - Handed off day-to-day rental property tasks 
• Deal analysis - Assigned complex real estate analysis 
• Operations / managing a team - Entrusted operations to a capable manager
• Email management - Delegated inbox sorting to virtual assistant

2. I cast a wide net for talent.

No, you don’t need an agency for this. 

With the cost of most agencies, you’re basically paying American salaries.  No bueno.
    
Instead, I casted the widest net possible.

Posting the job in:

• VA Facebook groups
• Freelancer.com
• OnlineJobs.PH
• Upwork

& asking for referrals from my own team.

We make our candidates follow instructions to even receive an application. 
    
Something like emailing us a codeword.

Then, we set up an auto-reply in Gmail.

If they email the right word, they receive the app.
    
If they can’t follow simple instructions just to get the application, they are not a fit.

Simple.

4. Sort applicants.

I sort applicants out of 10 based on: 

- English fluency
- Test work submitted
- Presence on loom video (all applicants submit a loom video to be considered for the role)

5. Hire for a 1-week trial.

By this point, we’ll have a good idea if this person is a fit or not.

People can fake interviews, but they can’t fake the work.  

We hire quickly and fire quickly.

I have fired someone 20 minutes after they started the job.

Letting the wrong person into your team hurts everyone - including them.

Once the team is in place, observe, and improve the machine.

You can have a multi-6 figure business & still:

• Take days off
• Go on vacations
• Hangout with friends
• Spend time with family
• Work 10 or less hours a week

Don’t let anyone tell you it’s impossible.

You just have to learn the art of delegation & passive income.

This has been my life for the last few years.

It's possible.

It doesn't take any massive changes to build your dream life.

I'm the same person I was 6 years ago but now I:

• Take action
• Take more risks
• Stopped listening to others

& my life changed for the better.

Like any industry, those who adapt are successful.

Those who don't, get left behind.

The biggest mistake I see people make when trying to increase their income:

Asking their boss for more money. Here's what to do instead:

Build your own 2nd income stream.

Why?

Because the income from that is uncapped.

You won't have to beg your boss to make an extra $100/month.

You can invest in something that generates $2000+ every month.

For me, this was Airbnb properties.

That's how I got my 2nd income up to $15,000/month while still working my 9-5.

I don't think my boss would've given me a $180,000/year raise. 😂
