RS Group is a global distributor of electronic, electrical, and industrial components, listed on the FTSE 100 Index.  As UX Design Manager, I run a team of designers working on the e-commerce platform across the EMEA and APAC markets. I support other UX practitioners and functions across the wider RS Group, aligning UX practice and principles.
• Built a new high-performance team, onboarding four new hires, and supported one return to work
• Brought in the Human-Centred Design (HCD) process, improving the production and quality of UX 
• Running regular workshops and education for the UX team and other functions
• Worked with the experimentation team leading to an increase in tests 
• Supported the rebranding with accessibility and inclusive design principles 
• Initiated and oversaw the build and implementation of a new global design system

Moteefe is a print-on-demand company that helps entrepreneurs and enterprise clients set up stores and sell garments with printed designs. As head of UX, I managed a small UX team and the delivery of many projects for internal and external clients.  
• Regularly presented to stakeholders, the C-suite
• Planned and implemented continuous research, building an international research panel of current and previous customers
• Developed ideal customer profiles and personas
• Delivered a new user testing process, increasing testing capabilities and reducing costs by 58%.

UIS at the University of Cambridge

I joined the UIS team at Cambridge to help design an inclusive and accessible design system. My work included developing a colour system for the broadest range of visual comfort, including optimal, high contrast and low glare modes. I worked on a flexible typographic scale and strategy to improve readability and compression. 
• Produced a Figma library, including key components and styles
• A/B testing to improve the university's homepage to attract and engage with a broader and more diverse audience. 
• Redesign the News section of the university website to promote the work and achievements of the university, students and research. 
• Designing the Postgraduate funding portal, a web app for matching students with applicable funds for their research and studies.

I founded this agency with a focus on digital marketing.  Notable projects include a Facebook application to increase engagement between a university and its students, a charity website which was a hub to help establish and grow local community groups.

Helping this established design agency, grow its digital offering.  I created animated attract loops for exhibition stands.  CD-Rom's of medical case studies, supporting Sonographers worldwide to detect foetal heart defects. Other projects ranged from brochure sites to complex larger multilingual CSMs and booking applications.

This young and fresh agency was mixing traditional print and digital or “New” media.  I got to work on many challenging and rewarding projects.  Such as large free-standing point-of-sale displays for musical instruments.  Interactive walkthroughs of factories and designing websites.

At this greetings card manufacture, I was managing and supporting the team.  Overseeing production and improving workflows, which increased both the company's output and sales — producing marketing materials such as brochures and adverts (which also helped with sales).
