I have more than 15 years of experience across a broad range of technologies, industries, and government organizations. I've led global technical teams, managed support teams, and built and developed multiple security programs where I was the first hire with "security" in the job description. Most recently, I'm building the security program at The Weather Company; the company that brings you weather.com, The Weather Channel App, and so much more. I've initiated projects to streamline business processes that are secure by design, and from the start with a focus on usability. Furthermore, while technology is important, the people and team in my organization come first. I foster a work-place culture that thrives on the whole-person concept, and empowers each individual to be their full self. I also work closely with the Veteran community, mentoring and guiding Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Coasties, and Guardians during their transition from active duty service, whether it was after 2 years, or 20 years. I am always open to connecting with Veterans and fellow Reservists to share experiences, and assist in the transition from military life.
