Ooh, an ‘About…’ section… that’s a good name for a business…. At 'About Consulting', we have a single goal for everything we do. We’ve had the same goal since we set up in 2006 – 'To help ordinary people achieve extraordinary things'. To us it isn’t just words on paper, it is our guiding light for every decision we make. If it won’t help our clients achieve more, we won’t do it. From origins as a financial planning training company, we’re now multidisciplinary, crossing four main areas: "About Peak Performance" Helping individuals, teams, and organisations bring about positive and lasting change. Whether we’re working with one person who wants help becoming a leader for the first time, or a company that wants to align its customer experience with its strategic vision, we have your back. You can always do more than you think – we’ll show you how. "About Financial" Provides training, consulting, thought leadership, and authoring services to the UK financial sector. There isn’t much we’ve not done and even less our team can’t do. We’ve got experts in tax, trusts, pensions, investments, and later-life planning. We do exam training for companies, write internal courses, deliver research that shapes sectors, and much more besides. "About Safeguarding" Run by my co-director and wife Madeline, this part of our business provides safeguarding training, investigation, mediation, and support services to schools and colleges. "About Neurodiversity" As someone who is proudly autistic, I set up this non-profit part of our group to focus solely on helping promote the benefits of neurodiversity. On a personal level, I’ve got ‘all the badges’. I’m a Fellow of seven different organisations covering the services the group provides. I’ve also got multiple degree-level qualifications and I’m not done yet. So what? Good question. Well, you're in safe hands. I can walk the talk and I make sure all our people can too. I still oversee everything, but I’m so lucky to have great people with me now – especially Madeline. She brings 20 years’ experience from the education sector – most recently as a Head Teacher. Outside work, I continue to adventure – everything from climbing Kilimanjaro (twice), to cycling John O’Groats to Lands End, and now Ironman Triathlon. I’m 50 next year, maybe I’ll grow up soon.
